Souji (Kabuto)


Souji is Tendou's alternative incarnation from Kamen Rider Decade. He is a young man who had been given the Kabuto Zecter by the ZECT corporation to be one of its agents in destroying the Worm menace that had befallen his world. However, an encounter with the Phylloxera Worm who mimicked Souji completely, caused the Zecter's Clock Up system to malfunction, trapping Souji in warp speed.

Prior to the start of the Kabuto World arc, Souji encountered the Phylloxera Worm which mimicked his form before he took one of its eyes out with his sister Mayu the sole witness before the malfunction occurred. This led to Souji's Worm mimic to become Sou Otogiri, the user of the TheBee Zecter, and led Mayu to hold a grudge against Kabuto, believing that he murdered her brother Souji. However, in spite of being unable to be with her, Souji does everything in his power to protect Mayu while supporting ZECT in exterminating Worms.

However, once deemed a menace by ZECT higher ups, Kabuto is pursued by the group under Otogiri as he commissions the development of a Clock Down System before tricking Mayu to come with her. Eventually, the truth behind Kabuto is revealed as the Clock Down System takes effect when he attempts to save Mayu, who has been revealed to be the Native Sisyra Worm, from Otogiri. After Tsukasa Kadoya arrives to his aid, the two Riders defeat the Phylloxera Worm while destroying the tower broadcasting the Clock Down waves. Souji slowly disappears back into traveling at the speed of light as Mayu sees him for one last time.

Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade : Movie War 2010

Movie War 2010 currently remains the last appearance of Souji. The Kabuto that appears in OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders and Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen is the original Kabuto, Souji Tendou.

Just like the original Kabuto, Souji's arsenal revolves around the use of the Kabuto Zecter to transform into Kamen Rider Kabuto.

Unlike in the series, the Zecter didn't announce the usual CHANGE BEETLE when Kabuto casts off, although it still retained the CAST OFF exclamation.

  • In most of his appearances in Kamen Rider Decade, Souji used Kabuto's Rider Form. In Rider Form, Kabuto has access to the Clock Up System, which allows the user to travel at near light speeds to match the Worm's speedy metabolism. To destroy Worms, Kabuto has the Kabuto Kunai Gun, a versatile weapon that can be used as a gun, an axe, or a kunai, all of which allow him to perform the Rider Beat, or his roundhouse Rider Kick.

Junichi Kaito



Publication Information


Junichi Kaito is Daiki's older brother within his home world and Junichi Shimura's incarnation from Kamen Rider Decade. Like Daiki, Junichi is also a Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Glaive, setting up the operation to overthrow Fourteen. However, Junichi was actually a double agent who worked to flush out the last two Kamen Riders of their world until Daiki unknowingly captured him, and as a result, played the role as Fourteen's puppet right hand in charge of the area management committee.

However, once Fourteen is destroyed, freeing everyone else from the brainwashing, Junichi reveals the truth with intent to be the next Fourteen. In spite of not being able to kill Daiki, with Tsukasa affirming he still has his free will, Junichi considers his brother dead to him and leaves.

Haruka Miwa


Haruka Miwa is a young woman who resists Fourteen as Kamen Rider Larc. She took part in the operation to overthrow Fourteen and ended up escaping with Shin when the operation was a failure.

Since then, she has been on the run from Fourteen's minions. She helps fill Tsukasa in on what is currently happening in her world.

Haruka and Shin are good friends as well as fighting partners and they cannot trust anyone else. Junichi used to work with Haruka until he got controlled by Fourteen. Haruka is constantly running away from people controlled by Fourteen and the Roaches because she wants to break this world's rule. Haruka does not have anywhere to live so she travels around with Shin.

Kamen Rider Larc is cited as an example of a female Rider in the Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders Super Spin-off net movie, Petition! Kamen Rider Tackle!!, by Daiki Kaito when Natsumi claims all the Riders they've met are male, with Tsukasa noting that they met Larc.

Shin Magaki, a hot-blooded young man who resists Fourteen as Kamen Rider Lance in the Diend World. After the operation to overthrow Fourteen failed due to Daiki's efforts, he escaped with Haruka. He holds a grudge against Daiki for selling out his older brother but eventually forgives him.

Tanaka



Publication Information


Tanaka is a Dark Rider that appears in Kamen Rider Decade. An A.R. version of Alternative is an evil Rider associated with the Dark Riders who assumed the guise of the Negatives World counterpart of the real Tanaka, Natsumi Hikari's high school teacher. Though ordered by Otoya Kurenai (A.R. World) to keep an eye on Natsumi rather than kill her, he intentionally decides to attack Natsumi, resulting in Dark Kiva beating him merciless. Alternative is then later destroyed by Kamen Rider Diend.

  • The Alternative system's card reader is mounted on the wielder's right forearm, with a female voice unlike the male voice used by the Ryuki Riders's Visors. Unlike the regular Visors, the Alternatives swiped their Advent Cards across their Visors, which burned up with jet-black flame and disappeared at the card's scanning. The terminals and images are printed crosswise, having the inscription Alternative Advent Card Alchemy System at the back. Also, there are green characters on the cards, which may give information to the Visor on what kind of card is swiped.

Ren Haguro


Ren Haguro is the resident Kamen Rider of the World of Ryuki in Kamen Rider Decade. Ren Haguro is a former journalist of the Atashi Journal and Shinji Tatsumi's former best friend, mysteriously leaving the group three years ago without explanation.

Ren has the ability to transform into Kamen Rider Knight and use the power of his Contract Monster, Darkwing. When Reiko is murdered, Ren enters the Trial to find the Rider who possesses the Time Vent Card. After defeating Scissors, Ren encounters Decade in a brief confrontation before Zolda intervenes. Later while forced to fight Shinji who accuses him of playing a part in Reiko's death, Decade's fight with Imperer stops theirs. Soon after, Decade battles Knight with the former being the superior fighter until Abyss intervenes. After defeating Odin, Ren acquires the Time Vent card at the cost of being too injured to use it himself.

  • His Final Vent is Hishouzan, running at the opponent with Wing Lancer in hand as Darkwing lands on its master's back to form a cape as he leaps into the air, wrapping himself with the cloak as they descend in the form of a drill using Wing Lancer as the tip to impale the opponent.

Shinji Tatsumi


Shinji Tatsumi is the resident Kamen Rider of the World of Ryuki in Kamen Rider Decade. Shinji Tatsumi is a young man who worked for the Atashi Journal as its photographer alongside its top writer Ren Haguro until he left the Journal three years ago without explaining himself.

Since then Shinji was distraught and felt betrayed as a result. However, when his editor Reiko Momoi is mysteriously murdered, Shinji finds Ren present at the scene. Soon after, Shinji is chosen to become Kamen Rider Ryuki, though is reluctant to join the Kamen Rider Trial that would judge the fate of the suspected murderer: Natsumi Hikari. As the trial begins, Shinji crosses paths with Yusuke Onodera and Tsukasa Kadoya, who represents Natsumi as her defense attorney.

Publication Information


After telling them what the official sources say behind Reiko's death and admitting he feels that Natsumi's innocent, Shinji accompanies Tsukasa and Yuusuke to the crime scene to meet Kamata who confirms Ren's appearance at the Journal around Reiko's death. While Kamata and Tsukasa enter the Mirror World to fight, Shinji confronts Ren to demand what he was doing at the Atashi Journal.

Once in the Mirror World, Shinji challenges Ren as he believes that Ren is the true murderer and has framed Natsumi. However, their fight is interrupted once Decade appears and challenges Knight with Ryuki watching their fight with contempt for Knight. Shinji later uses the Time Vent card Ren had acquired to reverse the flow of time, saving Reiko Momoi from murder and exposing Kamata as the murderer. Along with Decade, Shinji fights Abyss, revealing that Kamata is actually the Paradoxa Undead.

He later appears in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade: Movie War 2010 alongside the other Riders of the Nine Worlds to help in reviving Tsukasa and helps him battle Super Shocker, assuming Ryuki Survive with the help of Decade's K-Touch and later into his Ryuki Dragredder form with the All Rider Final Form Ride Card to fight the Super Crisis Fortress.

Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade : Movie War 2010

Movie War 2010 currently remains the last appearance of Shinji Tatsumi. The Ryuki that appears in OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders and Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen is the original Ryuki, Shinji Kido.



Form

Just like the original Ryuki, he is a "balanced" Rider with equally powerful melee and long-range fighting capabilities. His Contact Monster, Dragreder, provides his appearance and Final Vent Dragon Rider Kick. Kamen Rider Decade's Final Form Ride allows Ryuki to change into Ryuki Dragreder. This automatically equips Ryuki with Guard Vent and Sword Vent.

While the first transformation required Decade's assistance, Ryuki eventually was able to transform at will into this form. When in Survive Form, his Final Attack Ride with Decade is not the Dragon Firestorm, but an unnamed Rider Slash. This Ryuki also has no need of Drag Reder to use his Drag-Visor Zwei's shooting functions.

In this form, Ryuki's Drag Visor transforms into a gun-like weapon called the Drag Visor-Zwei, which can assume Drag Blade mode with the sword opening from the visor like a pocket knife with a blade measuring 1.2 meters (nearly 4 feet) in length.
